About Brent Davison

Brent Davison is a lifelong North Country resident and dedicated public servant running to represent the 115th New York State Assembly District. Deeply rooted in the values of faith, family, and service, Brent has spent his life working to protect and strengthen the community.

A proud United States Army veteran, Brent learned the importance of discipline, sacrifice and service to others early on. Following his military service, he continued to dedicate his career to public safety, first as a corrections officer and later as a member of the New York State Police. Rising through the ranks to become a Major and commanding officer of Troop B, Brent was responsible for overseeing law enforcement operations across the North Country.

In addition to his law enforcement career, Brent has also committed himself to spiritual and community service as a Deacon in the Diocese of Ogdensburg. His work in ministry reflects his deep compassion and belief in supporting neighbors during times of need, while also helping to build stronger, more resilient communities.

Brent and his wife live in Chazy, where they raised their seven children and now enjoy the blessing of grandchildren. As a husband, father, grandfather, and community leader, Brent understands the challenges families face in today’s economy. He is running for the Assembly because he believes North Country residents deserve a strong voice in Albany—someone who will fight for affordability, protect rural communities, and ensure that families, farmers, and small businesses are not left behind.

Brent Davison’s life has been defined by service; whether in uniform, in his parish, or in his community. Now, he is ready to bring that same commitment, integrity, and leadership to the New York State Assembly on behalf of the people of the 115th District.
